I probably shouldn't weigh in on this one, but that's exactly what I've seen at most of the Large Pack trials I've attended -- people offering a handshake or hug of congratulations to the winners and placers. And I'm talking the high stakes trials like the AKC LP Nationals, the CDN National LPH trial, and the Beagle Fox trials. I'm not saying there's never any grumbling later, or when they get home, but for the most part, this faction of beaglers has to be overall the best display of sportsmanship I've had the pleasure of running dogs with. Most are truly proud and happy for each others' successes. I have some of it on video (I wish I had more) but I will post some this weekend.Maybe at the end of a hunt ...Everyone lines up and shakes each others hand and offers up a "Great Job",,thats how we do it in Lassie softball...Shannon
