Day 64:

Pumpkin has taken us into overtime. She seems to be doing fine, so I guess there is no reason to worry.

She continues to enjoy all the special treatment due an expecting mom.

Pumpkin is carrying a full basket of little pumpkins.

She is acting a little spunky today. I do not know if that is good or not.

Try using a roller pin to sqeeze those pups out, I am dying to know how many she will have. The suspense is killing me!

I wouldn't go that far, but a good dose of MOM (milk of magnesia) might do the trick :P

Did you breed her more than once during her season, and if so, were you calculating from the first date of breeding or the subsequent?

She may not have taken until the third date. That would give her 2 extra days. Anything over that would be on the outside. I would think she would go in the next 24 - 36 hours.

I had a female that didn't have her pups until day 67. Everything was fine but I know what you are going though. Brian

Have you been taking her temp? Once she gets below 99 degrees she is within 24 hrs.

Two pups (1 boy and 1 girl) were born this morning between 10:30 and 11... We are waiting for the next installment. Pumpkin is doing great with the first two. More news and pictures to follow...
