I seen several good check dogs out of Shaker.Steve Gardner NY finished a 13 Shaker bitch on spo-ct,spo hare trials.A very fundamentally sound hound.I seen a few to laid back but made great gun dogs. The Harvey thing happens more than you think.I seen it happen numerous times out of 2 dogs that were BB High Hounds and quite a few other well known dogs.I tell you the LPH can trigger the kukoo clock out of even some of the best eventually. You have to know when is time to lay them up then bring them back.Once they kukoo you aren't doing them or yourself or the other handlers any favors by continuing to run the hound.I enjoy the LPH format cause truelly it takes a really good hound to win that's athletic and mentally tough to go with the nose and brains.I also enjoy SPO cause you get to follow along with the judges and see alot up close.Takes a really class hound to do well in both ie IFC Awfulbawlin Viagra no cottontail running experience hardily at all took a second pinehill SPO-CT next day victorious at EDINBURG in a LPH duel. That's getting it done! For a little dog ounce for ounce he is the toughest I seen.He deserves a spot on the couch when Art retires him.Art will probabily fix a bedromm for him when it gets cold. What a great man Mr.Art is I hope you guys voted for him in the Hall of Fame Ballots.

OK Steve
Ya opened the can. Only subscribers to the other paper can vote for the beagling hall of fame. Another jaded opinion poll, do vote for my second cousin but I do wonder bout the accolade when only them with the dough are the delegates. An aside but has to be proposed where in the dickens is Mon Chien Wally Coady is doing cartwheels wondering how this hound has been overlooked . Again this is the bb awards still no consensus
with the whole community . Digress we did thanks Keith L&S monk

No problem John,  Oh..... and to digress even further from the original topic if thats possible, the Englishman says that Elvis (AwfulBawlin Fax) is fitting in quite well out west. I'm still not quite sure how that one slipped thru my fingers. Guess that's what happens when you're a day late and a dollar short
It's not that life is short......it's just that we're dead for such a long, long time...

FC M&M Dino of Shaker, ( Shaker x Chicadee)15" male owned by Roland Zanella is a line control, check dog who is not known as a speed merchant, but he has enough foot to git er done. He is also a snow hound supreme. They don't come much nicer than him. This male is not rough at all.

MONK I am not really sure how old the members of the nominating board are, and it's a possibilty if they never saw him run wouldn't know. This Hall of Fame thing started about a year ago. They could maybe get an advisory branch or committe made of some old guys like Dan Kane,Art,Domenic Leitza, Joe Corrullo, and Coady to help out.I hope I didn't leave any old beaglers out I just remember seeing some these guys in some old issues of my grandads Hounds & Hunting 1961-62.This was about the time Mt Zion Pete made his mark and the birth of Homer LARMAY's legacy. He didn't finish a large number of FC's himself but the Toastmaster sired many a good hound in that era.I guess you look at East Coast Trimmer's record and his subsequent offspring that have seemed to produce you can say he was the real deal off all time. You really can appreciate someone sticking with the beagles that long and never giving up.

many have expressed interest in a North American Top Sire, dam,High hound awards that doesn't have kinks in the system that LEAVES FOLKS FEELING THE BEST HOUND DIDN'T GET RECOGNIZED.Who knows there may be even a North American Beagling Hall OF Fame. HEY FOLKS AT AB,BEAGLES CANADA,ATLANTIC CANADA BEAGLES YOU COULD BE INFLUENTIAL HERE AND COULD BE A DRIVING FORCE TO GET IT ROLLING.
