I like just about any kind of mouth - however, a high pitched squeel can be tough on the ears sometimes. I really like to have a variety, but right now have several w/ a bawl and several w/ a ripping squawl.
I had a female once that sounded like she was getting beat to death when she ran a rabbit - - I loved it! She'd get all tore up and excited!

i've heard tell of dogs with several different mouths. haven't you ever
went with an old timer that clams every hound in the woods. i seen dogs
with a good bawl, a squall and a good chop just depending on why fast
there being pulled or pushed. but my all time favorite is a good deep loud
chop not quite a bawl but close. the ole hoss dog i run has this and i've
only heard a couple other hounds with it.
