Patch, I remember the Blizzard of '78 well. I had a toddler at the time. I bet you remember the ice storm of '76, too. We were without power for 3 days. I'd never seen ice like that. Took down power lines and trees everywhere. I was 7 months along with above child, and we kept warm by the gas oven in the kitchen.

Hey Warddog,
Did you recieve your blessing yet? We got ours!!!
We dug open the driveway to the inlaws and took them to Ohio to have Christmas with their grandchildern. Before we left to come home, one of the little ones got up on my lap and said, Thank you for bring Grandma and Grandpa to share Christmas with us."
Just like puppies, why do they have to grow up ;) ...lol...Patch

Snow Storm

We got 30 to 50 cm (12 to 20 inches) on the eastcoast of Nova Scotia. Its the dry powder stuff, it came with high winds so there is bare ground in some places and big drifts in others. Good thing about the winds not much stayed in the trees, I think I will take a couple hounds and my snow shoes out in the morning. :D

Keep them running

Awful Bawlin,
The hare should have a little better chance, I am only going to run the young hounds. I will take out the big boys on the weekend and they will run in just about anything. I will try to run them hard and give you a challange next year at the nationals. Good luck in the new year.

I just got my power back on tonight (it's been off since Thursday). I'm also in Highland County Ohio. I had to use a rubber mallet to get into my truck on Thursday. It has been a Christmas to remember. I did learn how to cook nearly anything on the grill though.
