In fact, I have a nice male from my last litter I would like to give away. He is coming 3 months old and i don't want him because he has a slight brush to his hair and I only keep fine haired dogs. He acts and looks like he will have a very good nose and will make a very good rabbit dog. He is a pretty tri color with a blocky head and long ears. I will keep the breeding rights on him but you could use him on your own stuff if he pans out OK. Anyone interested can come and get him. Thanks

bob where do you live.? id take that pup if i could get him here...................... not exactly sure about what you mean about brush to his hair... if you mean coarse and long thats right up my alley.. they need it here. thick brush , cold... . its a handicap in the summer but a plus in the winter . pete
Bob: You said CULL. Cull means to reject for not comeing up to standard. That's not out of context. Actually I'd like to see some photo's and pedigree's on your hounds. I won't remark about them one way or the other, I'm just interested in seeing what you are talking about. You never know, you might have something I can use. The pictures and pedigree won't tell me a thing about their field ability but they will give me an indication if I would be interested or not. Since you've seen my old web site you have already got a little idea of our hounds conformation and I'll be happy to send you some peds in return if you'd like. I might have a couple of old pictures left from when my camera worked too if you'd like.
Roygu: Nope I never read the first book only the revised edition.

Pete, it is nothing more than a little courseness and he gets it from the hare breeding. The stud was out of a timberlake sambo female and the stud himself had the hare hair. yuk yuk! The pups all looked like the bitch but for a couple that were a mix and this pup was one of them. I think he is only going to be 13 inch so don't think you want him. I do 75% of my hunting on snow as we don't get busy until about dec with killing rabbits.
Dog's
Pete this is Chad if I was you I won't worry about the drive and just load the wagon and go. Bob can see the big picture and know's what it take's to get the rabbit to circle and keep ahold of them to . I personal have four dog's from Bob and I have seen some real nice stuff out of his stock. Just trust me if he say's it will work it will. I just bought one of the nicest young dog's from Bob I've ever been around. She has a good nose can move a rabbit and make very few check's. She can keep one going. If I was you I'd get the pup captured before he changes his mind. That's my two cent's worth Thank's and good hunting Chad
