IN ORDER FOR A DOG TO GO INTO THE HALL OF FAME (ANY DIVISION) THE DOG MUST BE NKC OR ARHA REGISTERED AND THE PERSON TRYING TO PLACE THE DOG INTO THE HALL OF FAME MUST BE THE OWNER OF DOG. ANY ACCOMPLISHMENTS MUST BE EARNED AFTER THE DOG WAS NKC OR ARHA REGISTERED. IF THERE ARE QUESTIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME.

I was talking about them not reconizing a dog because people change their AKC name to run them in NKC under their own kennel name. A dog should only have one name. If it is AKC registered then that it the ONLY name that goes on not someone elses kennel name. If it is only NKC or UKC registered then use that one. Too many people buy the AKC registered dogs (some with points) and then run them under their kennel name in another orginization to promote their kennel.

I agree with you from what he has produced he should be in the HOF. I don't know why Don never ran him in ARHA.

I would like to know if any other dogs has produced what he has in ARHA as far as champs and grands.
He deserves it, They are the one who give him a number, Don Hoog didnt.
They need to give credit where credit is due.
It's just like judging a cast, give credit to the dog not the owner.

WHEN THE NKC WAS FIRST GOING ON TO THE COMPUTER ALL DOGS WERE GIVEN AN NKC # EVEN IF THEY WERE ONLY THE SIRE AND DAM TO A DOG. THIS WAS STOPPED AFTER ABOUT THE FIRST 3 MONTHS OF TRYING TO GET THE DOGS INTO THE COMPUTER FROM THE OLD SYSTEMS BECAUSE WE DID NOT KNOW IF THE DOGS WERE ALIVE OR DEAD SO NOW ONLY THE ACTIVE DOGS HAVE NKC #'S.

Well guys there is the answer I got in case you all dont go to the NKC board.
My opinion is, it is a bunch of bull.
Wouldnt giving a dog a NKC # without it being NKC registered be falsifying papers?
