I would like to try it, I have access to the hounds to do it, may give it a shot. Both hounds suit me in a great deal of ways, complete hounds, not faulty.

Interested in opinions of those who have done it, not so much in speculation......or folks who haven't done it voicing there opinion.
I've bred half sister to half brother. They had the same mother. I loved the way the mother hunted and worked a check. The pups have the hunt and similar check work. I lost one of the pups, a coyote got one, and one died after I sold it so I didn't get a good indication of the entire litter. However, all were started, except for the one the coyote got, and looking good. I'm going to try it again.

well andy ( lone pine) not sure if u know ive been line breeding hard and that dora female u ran at ur place was line bred . i bred a uncle to a niece. bjs fud to a bitch out of raidar. and that bitch was raidar bred back to his daughter . my mocha dog . the one who got killed in harrison this yr. but never did brother to sister. ive got a male out of that raidar crossed to his dauandghter . i kept for myself and iam liking him alot. and as u know fud and raidar were brothers. both were out of ifc shaker and ifc stoneyhills tamarack. ive seen some good things like the pups have lots of drive and hunt. but will have to run him more to see if hes going to be anything like his pedigree. and the traits it implies . i know what all the dogs up close in his pedigree were i ran with and owned most of them. so far so good. :)
I will not follow where the path may lead; but I will go where there is no path, and leave a trail. LORD HELP ME BE THE PERSON MY DOG THINKS I,AM!!!

Owl Creek, I own a hound that comes out of Dingus Macrae main man x Flo line Dottie. He's pretty tough old hound. That was one of first thing I noticed in his ped was that cross.
