Re: Dog food
It's free to join. You just save the weight circles on the side of the bags of food. Once you accumulate enough points, you can get 10 - $7 checks sent to you. It helps alot and they accumulate faster than you think. Then by the time you use your ten checks, you almost have enough points to get another round.Will05 wrote:How do i join that?Smoke'n Mack wrote:Did you join the pro club? The best answer I found was to have them open a bag on the pallet, if the bag was good, the whole pallet was good for that run. If the bag was grainy or crummy, most likely the whole pallet was on that run and I'd check out another pallet.
Noodles Ain't too bad if you put a little of chicken in it

Re: Dog food

I could get ground chicken and beef in bulk for good deal. Feed raw ground chicken/beef/fish oil/ with some dimond hi-energy/ and little bit of rice or bread. Even better/cheaper than when I fed proplan alone. The dogs eat less and better performance. I hope this helps cut down some of your feed cost. Beagling should not cost that much if we know how to cut some of the cost down. I save close to $2000/yr not buying proplan anymore.

Another excellent food I just try is raw green tripe. I could see the improvement in performance. Google it.

Fed Purina
Over 30 years never felt the need to change, I use regular dog how through the summer, and pro-plan Performance,in season,,
If you trial a lot ,and try to feed the 30/20 in any brand ,,all year long,,,it will be hard on your dog ,to much protein.causes kidney problems..
Just my opinion.

Re: Dog food
Pride and sportsmans pride are not the same company. I've been using sportsman pride for 11 years. $29 for 50 lbs. Good food for the money. My dogs do good on it.

Check into the digestibility of cooked over raw. Cooking will give you more overall benefit per oz according to what I have read.mn_beagleboy wrote:I could get ground chicken and beef in bulk for good deal.
