I owned 2 of the best Super Dog's pups, FC Woodeye's Super Girl and FC Woodeye's Super Chic. The first large pack trial I ever attended, the judge realizing I had just purchased her from Craig Kemler, told me she may have been the best female he ever saw run a hare. He had scored 9 lines in a trial some years earlier and she was 1st on 8 and 2nd on the other. The next day she won an SPO on rabbit/hare, by entering the brace behind and flat dominating. She was fast and smart, she could run the line with authority and good hunt. I bred her to Speedy Sport, probably the first large lack hound breed to him, and had mixed results, medium speed, but very nice hounds, not the foot I was looking for. I breed her to IFC Murry's Little Blazer (Heli-Prop) and still own 3 of those females (placed third in the triple challege this year with one).

I purchased Chic and ran her in a pen for a month and took her to Canada and left her with my friend John Monkman. That day she didn't place, it was also her first time on hare. The following weekend she place 2nd, and John told me she made his dogs look stupid. The next week she ran into something and ended up with a massive hemotoma, the six on her chest between her front legs. She was scratched because of it. I let her sit for 2 weeks and picked her up a took her to the Large Pack Nationals. Still concerned about the hemotoma and having talked to a vet, I entered her. She took 4th. I was told by the owner of the 2nd place hound, that he thought she had beaten him.

So Super Girl really liked the Heli-Prop in her sires, probably because she was out of a Heli-Prop female herself.
