Eastern hog nose snake, they are commenly forund near forests and burry into the soft earth. No need to worry about this guy he is harmless.

Harmless to them too. Eats amphibians. Rodents are toxic to them.

Hognose snakes eat frogs and fish, they are rear fanged and are toxic (kinda like a bee sting) but if you are allergic could be worse. They flatten their heads and stand up like a cobra. They are really cool and rare,... btw most states its illeagal to kill em. The exeption is their western cousin the western hognose.
