Re: bloodlines
Conroe, I would assume that after I set you straight, you would have been man enough to accept that you were wrong! But apparently you think that you can save some face with a asinine post like you just made. I think I have made it clear that I feel no need to correct anything I have said about Branko hounds, as you incorrectly stated. I do think it quite odd that you obviously feel that others do not have the right to choose or reject any bloodline they want, and that you, Ron Conroe,is the protector of any bloodline that one says they don't like. I just hope there isn't a nearby telephone booth for you to step into, I can just see you now in a cape and a pair of tights protecting the innocent beagle bloodlines! Try to man up and admit you can't read minds ,and were wrong and we can get this behind us!

Re: bloodlines
still cold trailing and barking around, you can't keep running it backwards or you will never figure it out. you sound like a cull to me.
Re: bloodlines
Ron, thats it, Nothing of substance , I am not running backwards I am still at the point to where you could read minds, and threw yourself out as the protector of bloodlines that others had no use for, as if they had no right to dismiss certain bloodlines as their choice to run. That wasn't my original point but being the protector was your original intent. How about some more beagling adjectives to try to take your mind off the fact that you got your foot in your mouth. Or how about simply apoligizing. Or I tell you what why don't I just throw you back as being too small to keep! I am letting you off the hook ( pun Intended) as your responses are not very, er, uh, let me be kind and just say they are not very relevant, or thought out!

Re: bloodlines
I just think you talk a tad bit to much. Like stated before your barking around in the check area. People should run what they choose to he didn't ask to downgrade bloodlines he described what he ran before. Then you became the smartest man alive just like in other posts. He wants to know what people are running. Simply tell us what you like and run.??

Re: bloodlines
maple Valley, I don't know if I qualify as a northern guy, But I don't believe it is so much as a lot of the folks don't care for them it is just that due to the cottontails and the habitat a lot of us run in they look foolish. I have a feeling that If I was to run my hounds in the swamps of Canada with Branko, my dogs would probably look Foolish and out of place as well. You know it seems like the slow and Med speed guys can accept that others may not like their style of hounds, but let a Med. speed guy say something about the faster hounds and the slobbering and spitting starts! It is indeed a whole different mentality. I did not and have not said they were junk or worthless ,as a matter of record I have said just the opposite , but the fast dog at all costs mentality cannot get past the first sentence. Let me be clear, I like fast hounds , it is just that pretty much all of the faster bloodlines do not have the control that I insist upon, it makes them look foolish and I will hunt without dogs before I hunt with that in my area. Only my opinion.

im not to big on peds. i will run what ever will run a rabbit the way i want them to. right now i got branko and rangerdan lines in my kennel, but i've seen better than what i got and i have seen worse.
Re: bloodlines
jumpnrun, I had a hard time figuring out what you were saying, You sure got a way with words, but I think I got what you are yapping about and just to save you from being wrong how about you showing all of us where I was downgrading bloodlines. Don't make yourself look any worse, show us. Oh, yea, just for you since you are hung up on who is the smartest, between you and me, It is me by a mile. But apparently you think you are pretty smart , taking jabs at others intelligence and all. Let me guess twenty something right, c'mon now you guys know it all , How about twenty four, thats it, isn't it! You gave it away as soon as you opened your mouth.

Danpan,
It actullly is a very good post. I'm in the same situation as you. I got out about 3 years ago for a few different reasons & lately have been really missing it. I'm going to get back into it and have been asking myself the same questions. I'm curious what you go with and why. Keep us updated.
