A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)

Motty dropping one she and Lilly caught at my feet. I had thought they had blown up on the race but they'd caught it instead.
Lilly after a hard days work. Wish I had her back. Give her to a young boy when I was in the process of moving last summer. Had nowhere to keep her at the time and he wanted her bad it was his first dog. Hope I get lucky enough to have another like her. Have no beagles right now. Lookin for the right one.
Take your kids huntin and you wont have to hunt for your kids.
Dillinger, you pretty much hit the nail on the head, the swiss tries to get through, but in some spots had to go over or around , all in all , fun to watch and be a part of!!
My Dad and Max. My Dad died the year after this was taken and never did get a chance to go out rabbit huntng with me and the dogs. He still enjoyed their company, and the pictures, and stories from my hunting trips with the boys. Like I have heard said on here, the good ones are never with us long enough. Anyway, I love this picture of him with Max as a pup.
One of our first sucessful hunts with both Max and Copper. Also new to us was the gun my youngest son has. It was my dad Ted Williams Sears and Roebuck. He shot everything with that gun from birds to rabbits and deer. Now my son is using it for rabbits when he feels up to it. Its a load to carry but he rarely misses with it.
And of course the famous MIchigan Jack-o-lope. It would have been a six point if it had not shed its one anlter.
This is my dad with his pup he past away in 2002 but he past on his love of beagles to his family and Paige was layed to rest right behind my Dad and I will lay next to her when I go

mobeagle, is that an ESS in the far left kennel? I love those dogs and wish I had another one. I should have kept the one I had. She was great in the house.

She's a purebred running walker Bev. You sure wouldnt want her in your house. She's one of those dogs everytime you touch her you're covered in hair.
