No not offended at all.I understand that is the way it was back in the day,Beleive me growing up with a dad like mine you didn't know what he was bringing in that day for us to eat.So i understand i was just saying that we don't know the burdens that people are carrying that they may have to sell every hound they have just to make ends meet.In the economy we are living in right now.

Sir i agree with you 100 percent was not trying to offend anyone even though sometimes i come off a little harsh was not my intentions. Sorry if this is the way it sounded. Not to get off the subject but there really is no reason are way of living should be like this we are the greatest country in the world and we should start treating are citizens as such Agree?

Look at the want ads. There are many people who are struggling and having to give up the sport. If things get tough enough, your dogs will go before your family no matter how much you love them. At least, that is how it is in my life. That being said, hearing a good race kindles an ancient feeling in a dog man that goes back to the days sitting by the fires and hunting to eat. It is hard to explain, but if you have it, you will know what I mean.

i dont know exactly what it is about hounds that i love i have thought about this a lot maybe its the fact they are always glad to see you or the fact they run their heart out to please you and they never hold a grudge after you scold them there are a lot of things you can not say this about best way i can describe it is when im running my dogs everything is right in my world a hound dog is a wonderful thing thats why i keep on keeping on.

I've only been into beagles for a year and a half and I am more happy taking my two hounds out to the field than doing anything else. My second beagle opened up on her first rabbit in March and it was one of the most exciting moments. I've already have quite a bit of money on my hounds from the tritronics to starting pens, but I know one thing, this evening when hearing my pup running on one of her first rabbits in the swamp, I realized I am hooked.

i know it is tough sometimes but my love of my family and hounds is the reason i go to work. to be able to have the hounds and do what i love run my dogs . as far as hounds men and people that never give up there hounds . i have a friend named hosea he lost both his best dogs at once hit by a car.then he breed his best bitch and she died rom the pregnancy and so did the pups . but he is back at it and will be trialing soon he has some new young dogs coming up . i forgot to tell you all them dogs were lost in the same year . now thats love of this sport he had to start all over. and iam glad he is back at it.
