Snowy is 10 this month, maybe she is getting to the point were she won`t be able to carry pups, hope not I like this old blood. Any thoughts?

Have you bred her before? I look at it that if she comes in heat, she ought to be able to have pups, I think thats mother natures way. But I would do like you said and cut back on her running.

Don't fret the weaklings, nature has it in it to thrive,... the will to live. You know how that calf hits the ground on a cold frozen night and the mother licks and nudges it on, as the steam rises off it's warm, wet little body ...Those wobbly legs struggle to get under and push it up to a stance...the desire to get upright and nurse off it's mother. Some pups don't have the wallop to thrive and they pass making way for those who do, to gain strength and promote the strongest of the family.
Five is a good litter, congrat's on the new entry... ;)

hey chuck sorry to hear about the pups like what was stated earlier cherish the rest and move forward. my lick creek rosiepatch female out of snowy raised all 5 of her pups from her first litter bred to lick creek zeuspatch and all of them are running hard :dance: for being just over 6 months old. They have alot of hunt in them i can see why you like snowy so much :D . whats left should make some good rabbit hounds :biggrin: keep us posted cojax
