Re: Question for you hunters in Virginia??

I just spoke to Sgt. Jamie Davis with the VDGIF and he said training dogs on Sunday in Virginia is leagal as long as no fire arm is in you posession (in season or not). Valid hunting liscense is required. As far as running at night, it is not legal at all, but I had a feeling it is not something they actively enforce with out a complaint.

Hunting on Sunday in Va was shot down again this year. I posted this on a thread I hi-jacked about ticks in Va and it seems as though there are hunters that do not want to change this law. I work EVERY Saturday and only get off on Sundays and half a day on Thursdays (sometimes not that). Makes it rough. I contacted my representative and he said there is not enough hunters-voters to push it through and he would not vote to pass it. He lost my vote right there. We have a republican governor and senate and can't pass it, not much hope later on.
