ok i'll take another stab-- becuse running conditions are diffrent... I thought straight up was the way beagles are supposed to run with their tails.... isn't that how they were bred... so you can see them

Most of my hounds have bloody tails, some even swing their tails so hard that the blood ends up on their front shoulders and sides.

tsa la gi, I went to my favorite spot today and never jumped a rabbit
I never even saw a track
any body else having a hard time finding rabbits.

Beacuse they skirt the thick stuff and wait for the rabbit to come out on the other side while letting the foolish dogs scratch their ears and tails

Or maybe the don't have tails.

Hint: Many Bench winners have a lesser chance of having a bloody tail than their non-bench winning peers, and it's not because of lack of hunt or time in the field.
