Joeyman,

Awesome pics and story as always!! Did y'all get that much snow? I was watching the Weather Channel and they were saying the St. Louis area didn't get it as bad as expected.

It missed us. well we got alot of sleet and freezing rain. had it been all snow we'd had 15+ inches. We got a good 1.5 of sleet. Now it all packed down and rock hard. Some light snow on top of the sleet. North West of us and West of us got hammered by snow. 20inches in columbia Mo. Alot of snow up in bowling green area and Troy. I'm gonna be hunting up that way this weekend. We'll see what happens in the deep snow.

Rabbit season ends Feb 15th. I gonna give it a try in the deep snow up north.

Joey looks like you are getting pretty good at the hunt in the snow thing. Nice job. If you are goin into deep snow or ice conditions, word of advice, do not run alot of dogs at a time. Couple reasons, one is sometimes too much pack pressure and they do not concentrate, sometimes the front dog is the only to get any scent anyway. Another reason, if there is ice, there pads will get cut up and in few hours, they will be hurting, better off to split pack into few am and few pm. Good luck
