what happens if you feed sportmix and a little bit of raw?
I got one of my dogs in that combo.

Re: Another Question About Feeding Some Raw
lol joeyman i fed sportmix for about 2 years...that was only b/c i did'nt know any better at the time. I too "thought" my dogs looked good on it. really what i was seeing was the 16.50 a bag price tag.....eventualy I saw the light and never looked back. Don't get me wrong if it suits ya it suits ya...i just get a kick out of going to a trial with a dog that actualy looks it lives in the house. Ol scruffy can win as many trials as he wants for redneck dan, but at least mine look good
and are well cared for!! and if you buy a pup from me it's gonna be just as healthy, and won't have spent the first 9 weeks of it's life fighting for survival in its own fieces.....like some of the purty popular fellers on this here board.

lol that was about 6 or 7 years ago for that price! it shot up to 18.50 a bag and i decided to search for something else...then i eventualy decided if i want the best i'm gonna have to pay for it...then i discovered raw LOL. Then i got too many dogs
lol now i'm back to paying for it.

Leave the bone in for the calcium. My dogs have been on nothing but raw for the last year and a half and they look and act healthier than they did on kibble.
