what happens if you feed sportmix and a little bit of raw? :biggrin: I got one of my dogs in that combo.

lol joeyman i fed sportmix for about 2 years...that was only b/c i did'nt know any better at the time. I too "thought" my dogs looked good on it. really what i was seeing was the 16.50 a bag price tag.....eventualy I saw the light and never looked back. Don't get me wrong if it suits ya it suits ya...i just get a kick out of going to a trial with a dog that actualy looks it lives in the house. Ol scruffy can win as many trials as he wants for redneck dan, but at least mine look good :) and are well cared for!! and if you buy a pup from me it's gonna be just as healthy, and won't have spent the first 9 weeks of it's life fighting for survival in its own fieces.....like some of the purty popular fellers on this here board. :approve:

lol that was about 6 or 7 years ago for that price! it shot up to 18.50 a bag and i decided to search for something else...then i eventualy decided if i want the best i'm gonna have to pay for it...then i discovered raw LOL. Then i got too many dogs :( lol now i'm back to paying for it.

You can make the triump with the meat grinder the guy i get it from said you grind it then boil it but it want have the vitiams in it and the other stuff to much work for me i rather buy it 20 bucks for 10 lb tube

Leave the bone in for the calcium. My dogs have been on nothing but raw for the last year and a half and they look and act healthier than they did on kibble.
