I feed anywhere from one to two handfuls per hound depending on the weight. If one is run down a little more than another, he gets more. If you don't run your hounds much, you may have to give less as they will put the weight on quick.

Over a year ago I had the same opportunity to get any and all scraps from a buddy of mine who works in a local meat department. This is all I have fed to my hounds and even raising puppies on this diet with no problems. I have never cooked any of it and have never had any problems whatsoever. Look up my past post and you can read how much I've enjoyed feeding a raw diet and how much difference I've seen in my hounds.
