Seems like the only one that has sounded off yet is the so called "Fictional" lead character. What type of book or story would this fictional person write, I ask. It would make interesting reading but I would not buy the book myself. I would rather wait till the "Video" comes out. If such a person really exists (and we all know they do no matter where you hang out) it seems the issue should be hashed out between the two parties rather than turn into a nasty He Said -She (HE) Said on a site like this. If you have something to say you should say it to the persons face and if you know of a crime commited you should contact the proper authorities. These types of feuds get ugly and seem to turn into feeding frenzies.
I do not know any of the people involved in this and y'all are several hundred miles from me but I have seen the personal character of friends of mine attacked in such a manner and it seems unfair and an improper way to handle such situations.
Just my 2 cents,

Ted:
I know it sticks in your craw but I would just let it die.The stuff you have stated are some of the reasons we quit going to that club.
I think you are 100 percent right but sometimes being right doesnt help.Forget about him and concentrate on building what you have started. From what I hear you guys have a good club down there.

DISHONESTY
When I first started running beagles, I was CERTAIN I would never trial, and this is the kind of stuff that made me say that. I was content to run beagles locally and I didn't care about the trial end of it. I had friends who were trialing and they would tell me horror stories like these and I just didn't want to be a part of it. I finally tried trialing and I'm going to be as honest as I can here. I've seen some bad stuff too...bad calls....bad attitudes...one can go on and on. HOWEVER, for the most part I believe folks are honest, want to have fun, and want to help each other out. I refuse to let a few (in my opinion very few) bad apples spoil it. I've met some fantastic folks who would do anything to help you out. Folks like Matt Glomski, Mace, John Boller, Dale Barnes (who I found likes to joke around like I do), and a whole lot of others. The point is, please don't let this discourage you from trialing. If the honest folks do, only dishonesty will prevail in the end and the sport is doomed. Just try to forgive....be wise....and move on. Remember...you will never be able to control how folks act, but you can be in complete control of how you react to it. *Brian*

Boy, is this ironic!!!
I was just having a conversation with a friend that bow hunts. He is an officer in a Bowhunters Association and we were discussing childish remarks on the internet about other members. Apparently, there was a doo slinging contest between a couple members. In the end, infidelity, drinking problems, poaching and many other topics got thrown into an online argument. More than a few of the leaders in the organization quit because of the comments and many members dropped their membership status. People in other organizations were dragged into the argument. The result: A lot of people with a common interest no longer feel comfortable with their peers because 2 people started a meaningless argument ONLINE.
In my infinite wisdom, I told my friend to look at this board.
Because we did not bring other people down. We handle our personal problems at a personal level. And a challenge of "lets run 'em" usually silences nay-sayers, or at least earns a little mutual respect.
Ted, I know you want justice. But you won't find it here! It can only be had on the typing end of this message board. If there are other people that feel the same as you, then you guys need to handle it in your home. You'll feel better about it in the end, and earn the respect of a few of us in the meantime. My suggestion: Can the book. It's not worth your trouble.
P.S. I think NYHillbilly is a sage.
We should start listening to that man more often. Nice post.

Fatbaby,
A good name for Catfish's friend that got suspended by the MOH. Yes, I lost a friend that night on the flashlight cast, which was done before the memo came out telling us not to judge after dark. Also, it seems most don't know that there were two of us judging that night and we agreed on every score before it was written down. Friends are precious and that still bothers me. But if I had it to do over, I wouldn't change a thing on my part of the judging. I checked all of our hunt results for every hunt we have hosted. There are NO dogs placing in two classes in the same hunt. If it came out in the Rabbit Hunter that way, it was a misprint from how I mailed it in. I mentioned no club in anything I said. There is no club I have ever been to that doesn't have people I greatly respect, including yours.
Finially, I am taking the advice of several and hopefully this will die. I mentioned no individual and said from the start that this was fictional. Your inferences did the rest.
