From what I've seen with my little experience, the Weir Creek is medium speed. I have one (http://espomagazine.com/pedigrees/9879.htm) that runs the back of the pack with my other dogs (http://espomagazine.com/pedigrees/6883.htm). They don't leave him in the dust.
They just don't leave much work for him to do.

He does gets an A for effort. He tries to get in front of them EVERY NOW AND AGAIN, but to so; he has to run mute. Here is a link of the faster dogs. Try to picture him about 5 yards behind the last dog.
