Great publicity for hunter's when a celeb gets a pet taken for dinner! Ask Jessica Simpson about her love of coyotes if she can remember what they are! LOL.

Kind of on the fence on this one I enjoyed the pictures whatever you put on here eveybody can see I could see why coyote boards won't post.In the long run you could be giving ammo to the enemy

i hate coyotes but they are still a living thing and killing them is great but the photos should be a little more respectful or it will give hound hunters a bad name

The way you worded that sounds like you personally have a problem with it? Thatll be my last post with yote pics I said I'd stop when someone complained and I'm a man of my word.
Take your kids huntin and you wont have to hunt for your kids.

My opinion is that hunting will never be stopped. . The pictures are awesome and I enjoy them. Hope someone will continue posting them. Just my 02 cents.

I think edrabbit and NY Hillbilly are not far off the mark, mobeagle you'll do the right thing if you not post the pictures as graphic as some of yours. Thanks for keeping your mind open. Harner I don't know what world your living in but hunting with hounds has already been outlawed in several states for various species with more atempts to follow.PS For what it's worth I pesonally would love to run coyote with hounds and hope to do just that some day.

when you kill a coyote whether you kill it with a gun or a dog it don't matter, the gun don't always kill it with the first shot, so it don't matter how you kill it, mobeagle, keep the pictures coming i think they are great, don't let 1 or 2 guys wreck it for everybody.

Ron Conroe (and others),

Please go back and read my post. I did not try to "wreck" anything for anyone. I only stated my opinion and urged one to consider caution rather than post pictures that could damage hound hunting and hunting in general. As I enter my second half century on this planet I have been around the block more than a few times and assure you there are more non hunters out there than hunters OR anti's. They are the ones we have to keep on our side so we do not lose the privilege like so many other places around the world have.

We need to put the best, most positive image forward we can or we will risk losing the support we desperately need to have. You may like to see hounds rip apart a still living, breathing animal and get off on a snow covered blood bath, but I will bet anything you can muster up that presented to an open forum of non-hunters, such behavior supported in living or should I say “dying” color will turn them off in a hurry. Anyone who thinks we are not always at risk of losing hunting with or without hounds is naïve and clearly out of touch with today’s realities. Many states have banned the use of hounds for bear and want to use that as a stepping stone. "We" who hunt, all know the real deal and that everything is not always the ideal or pristine, but unless one is sick or twisted in the mind one does not think hunting is synonymous with animal torture.

After many years as member of our local fish and game clubs, representative to our county federation of sportsman and a past vice-president of the same organization, I have had years of dealing with such issues with the state DEC and legislators who work with and against us. Like it or not we as gun owners and hunters are in a battle not unlike the one being waged against the coyote in the pictures. It is as fierce and figuratively just as bloody. I for one do not want us to suffer the same certain outcome the coyote faces however, that being death. But, I guess you who like the graphic depictions so much can go ahead and do want and keep posting. Be sure to save these posts on this topic however so we can see who was on what side of this argument in the future, so that when the day comes and we are no longer able to participate in the activities that are so important to us, we can go back and thank the one’s responsible.

Again, as I stated, do what you will. I have said all I need to say and have not made this personal in anyway. I have only raised another perspective for consideration and will say no more. I have enjoyed this site for years now and will continue to do so as time permits and will continue to refrain from becoming nasty, argumentative or negative to or about others.

Peace,
NYH

I say kill the heck out of them but don't post the action pictures just the harvested ones. BTW I got a couple hounds to run coyotes with but so far all they have run is deer.

As painful as it is to admit, I believe New York Hillbilly is on the mark. We don't need to hand our enemies the ammunition to shoot at us.

new york hilbilly, if you are not making it personal then don't use my name in your post. it's sounds like you are giving them more ammunition than the pictures are giving them, they feed off your post too you know.
