East Tennessee is a really pretty place to live. No state income tax, low cost of living, more bluegrass music than you can shake a stick at. We play a little football and basketball around here also. It gets a bit windy with Kentucky bordring us to the north, but it's not so bad. Lots of bunnies, beaglers, and deer. I won't mention the patient pool that is available for your line of work....

Thanks for the prompt replies and more than a little "Blue Grass" history. LOL! Gotta love that "old timey music".
I have not heard anybody say they hate where they live yet which is cool. And what's this with you Joey (I always watch the vids..........excellent hound work...sorry about the loss of your male.......and way to go Leah......bring em to daddy) talking about Iowa? Don't you chase all them in Missouri?
Keep the info coming. My next move will be my last...........well until.............
. And, I'm sure the music and running there will be heavenly!
Peace,

Re: Hillbilly looking for new home
yeah but northern Mo and Iowa is the best rabbit hunting their is. Also in Iowa the deer are monsters. and you can go in with a group of guys and kill 100 rabbits in a day if you wanted to thats what some claim anyway. Heck I'd move to iowa........lol
thanks for the kind words about pistol and on my leah dog.

As usual I agree with TC, WESTERN kENTUCKY is the place you ot to be! I would also consider Eastern indiana, along the Ohio River valley! You have the four seasons, but winters are very mild compared to NY! Zanesville Ohio area! Lots of public land!
Now if you want to go real rural, Eastern Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Northern Missouri, or even Northen Oklahoma. Tough winters, but GREAT hunting, I mean unbelievable! BIG giant Bucks, turkeys, light hunting pressure, and an absolute small game paradise. I went to north central Kansas last month and I would consider moving there if I had a job secured! The Midwest the worlds largest food plot!
Praying for your mission trip, and hoping you land in the spot the GOOD LORD leads you to. The land of Milk and honey, and lots of Wabbits!

I knew Bill Monroe personally and he would be the first to tell you Bluegrass Music was played for years before he came along.

Re: Hillbilly looking for new home
I knew Bill Monroe personally, I just happened to remember I gave him a red bitch around 86 or 87. We used to eat breakfast at the same place when he was in from the road. He would tell me she had a prettier voice than any woman in Country music. Mr Monroe would be the first to tell you Bluegrass Music was played for many years before he came on the scene. Bak to the topic Hillbilly I will sing one song for My old Kentucky Home.

Really? Over Missouri? I spend alot of time in Iowa and I'd rather be here. Tons of rabbit and deer where I live in north central Missouri and you cant buy property anywhere in the US any cheaper than right here.
Take your kids huntin and you wont have to hunt for your kids.
