Subscribers will receive their magazines the last week of September. It is our goal for everyone to always receive it the last week of the month previous to which the magazine is due.

Just curious when are each of the magazines going to come out since there is only 7. Is it bi-monthly??
The magazine is bi-monthly with a Christmas issue.

It is now set up to receive online payments with a credit card or check.

The first issue will be in October.

To go ahead and answer a few more questions from different emails… The mission of Gun Hound Magazine is to educate, assist, enhance and inspire active participation in hunting, competition trialing and pleasure running hounds. It is not our objective to push an agenda, a list of do’s and don’ts, an ulterior motive by backing a certain style, bloodline, breed, or any set of rules from any particular organization or format. It is to promote hunting with hounds in general. Every year we are losing more rights to our own government and we are losing influence on the general public. We are also having less and less young people getting involved in the sport of hunting, with them filling that void with opportunities of “trouble”. The divisions and "clicks" among hunters, trailers and houndsman has opened up a huge window of opportunity for those that would love to put a stop to hunting and running hounds all together. So again, we are out to educate, assist, enhance and inspire active participation in hunting, competition trialing and pleasure running hounds. So if a hound is used in any of the above being coon, fox, rabbit, bear, cat, boar, deer, coyote etc… we will cover it, but as you all know, Beagles are my first love.

Without saying too much, we have really been blessed. We have had huge support and help from many and we really have some “big guns” in the “hunting world”. Our first “feature article” is by Ted Nugent. http://www.tednugent.com/hunting/

I appreciate the many emails of support and encouragement from those of you on here. Jim

The magazines are being mailed this week, and yes, you will get this issue. For those that ordered T-Shirts, they are being shipped this weekend. Thanks, Jim

PS - Look for this in your mailbox within a week.

I got mine the 28th and my buddy Jason got his two days before me. But Jason called and asked if he could get some more copies to set out at a gun club, and he was told that they apolagized and said that they had to run a second print because they only ordered a certain number of them and had no idea that the subscriptions would come in like they did, so many and so fast and because of that, some of the subscribers were going to get theres a few days late. But he, "Mr. Lane or Mr. Oszust" Im not sure which one he spoke to, said that it was their mistake and all those that was getting theirs late are getting their first issue free, and there actual subscription won't begin until the next issue, to make it right. But Jason talked to him on Thurs. and he said as of that day they all were as of that day all mailed out. But Jason sometimes gets things mixed up so I dont really know. I will tell you fellows this, it is one heck of a magazine and if they thought they were over run with subscriptions on the first one, wait until the next issue. Ted Nugent's story is the bomb and they have about 14 or 15 storys total in it, nice big pictures, about useing hounds on bear, mountain lion, coon, boar, deer, and a few on rabbits and a few more on guns and health for dogs and other stuff. Good Magazine

I ordered my subscription over 2 months ago.......surely those that ordered then were accounted for before the first issue went to publication..........I wasn't one of those guys that waited to the last minute to start a subscription. I can understand a second print due to the success with late subscribers, not sure about subscriptions started over 2 months ago though. JMO

I just got back from vacation. The magazine was waiting in the mailbox.
I was a late subscriber and there was a letter explaining the delayed shipping.
I read it from cover to cover. I think Jim and Mike did a great job.
The articles were interesting and informative.
There are many ads, which should keep the magazine in the black for a long time.
Congradulations on a great magazine and continued success.

Mony
