Re: WHO'S THE TOP STUD DOG??????
from what I have seen while hunting with Joe Diebold and his young dogs out of Dutch he seems to really putting the hunt and the foot in his pups. I would look at Diebolds little Dutch Man if you want speed, stamina, mouth and nose. Dutch is a FC in LP and won the Big Pack world at least once that I know of and on top of that he has been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

My vote would go to the Shooter dog. He's thrown his fair share of champions, and he's still beating the brush. Never have seen him run, but I've seen a couple pups go. To have that much speed and still have that kind of line control is amazing to me.

Re: WHO'S THE TOP STUD DOG??????
Here are a few out of IFC Green Bay Shooter that I know of that have went on to finish for thier Field Championship title- FC. Glacier Ridge Renegade, FC. Green Bay Million Dollar Baby, FC. Snow Run Rita, FC. Green Bay Big Booty Judy, FC. Snow Rub Buell, FC. Green Bay Butkus I believe there are a few more but just can't remember them all. There are a few others that I can think of that just need a win or two- Shooter's Page 2, Whitney Creek Capt. Jack, Green Bay Mandy, Nature's Double O Buckshot and I'm sure that I missed a bunch. These are the ones that I can think of right off the top of my head. Shooter is the top producing living sire as of right now (according to Better beagling) and I believe he will be for a while. He is still producing some fine dogs and I think he is still getting a good number of breedings down in Indiana. A lot of these dogs that I mentioned were sired by Shooter before he made his trip down to Indiana. This list of dogs are from 5 different bitches that Shooter bred. I do know that that Shooter was bred very few times before he went to Indiana. When you look at the top stud make sure to look at the percentages. Some of these other dogs that have been mentioned have been bred much more than Shooter with much less results. There are also some male dogs out of Shooter that have been bred with very good percentages as well. These are just some young dogs that have placed or won in thier first trials entered into. Shooter is making his mark as one of the greatest producers ever. He still has a long road to go but is well on his way.
Rengegade a 15" male and Butkus a 13" male have been bred a few times with some very fine pups on the ground or pups just arriving. I have a feeling that we will be talking about these two dogs as well in the near future. I believe every dog out of Renegade so far that has hit the field trial circuit has placed or won. Butkus just finished for his FC. title before he was 2 yrs. old and I think his first litter is just hitting the ground. If you are going to put stock somewhere put it into Shooter. Percentages don't lie.

Wild Hare Kennels,
Not trying to toot my own horn but I own FC Drive On Bunker Buster. Lumerjack and Quick Study bred both Heavy Branko bred with heavy Jack of all Trades. Buster is very fast footed with control but I wouldn't say anything if he wasn't producing this trait into his pups. Buster has been bred only 2 times and has produced a female that is on her way to FC status. This dog is owned by Jeff Martin he will tell you about her so don't just take my word for it. The remaining 3 surviving pups of this litter went to gun hunters and 2 of 3 were very happy with pups. Brent Causey owns 2 females out of the 2nd litter of Buster one is doing well in trials with a win and the other should make some noise soon. However Back To "Most Foot W/ Control" The most consistent trait Buster has thrown has been tons of foot and brains. Most if not all his pups will be "Front Runners"

Re: WHO'S THE TOP STUD DOG??????
Just read in Reggie's stud ad in the July Rabbit Hunter that his daughter won this years A.R.H.A. World Hunt. What is this female's name and what is the bottom side of her pedigree?
A World Hunt winner sireing a World Hunt winner, not too shabby.
Guess we all know that Reggie's mother is double Blue Ninja bred, the result of a half brother x sister cross.Ninja sired Blue Barry a two time National Large Pack winner who in turn sired Phil Reynold's female [can't remember her name ] who also won the Large Pack Nationals. If you're going to the Big Dance remember "that genetics loads the gun but environement pulls the trigger".
