Brian,

Yes we are still running yote hounds, just recently our hound decided she was a cat dog and look what we came up with

Anyhow that 13" male isn't mine he is Roy Munro's. I have a story about Chilli that when I tell it most guys shake their head and call me a liar. But Skip Ray stood right there and watched the whole thing play out and can be my witness. We were running last spring either late March or early April back on the farm. The farm has a pretty good sized creek in the spring and the dogs made a pass to the north side of the creek running strong. Now most all our running is on the south side of the creek, I told Skip you watch and this rabbit will jump either across the creek or swim it. Skip I believe said your full of !@#$.... Well low and behold here comes Mr. Bunny he jumps into the creek turns swims down stream 30-50 feet and swims across and jumps out. The first dog there wasn't brave enough, the second dog there couldn't figure it out and old Chilli dog was the third one there. He jumped into the creek barking every breath turned swam down the creek and came out dead nuts right on the line. The other dogs might as well have laid down and gave up because he was absolutely sticking it to them. I mind you we had a couple other hounds out there that are pretty to notch rabbit dawgs. Skip and I looked at eachother and said you have got to be kidding me. Probably the most impressive thing I have ever seen in the beagling woods.

Danny, you're right about that. I have a young female from Andy that if she turns out I'd like to breed to your male.

Brian,

If you wanted PP type pups you could always breed to a male similar to Junie's sire.
There are 2 in the LGBC that are 13" and medium speed with tons of hunt.
Mostly weir creek and black creek bred.

I have a 13" male but he is only 7 months old.
He's out of Nellie and Appl. Mt. Bluesman.

good luck,
andy
