Whatever happened to Magnum or Magnum38 (whatever his nic was)? I don't think anyone tried to stir the pot more than him.

Its not our board to decide who posts and who doesnt, if we dont like it, we can move on.

I think Magnum finally bought a good dog, then grew out of adolescence, quit stirring, and decided to be a positive contributer. He appears on the espo board occasionally and always seems positive with his information.

I like some one that isnt afraid to challenge the authority with his own opinion, I am not sure but the authority here hasnt brought her side to light that I am aware of, maybe her side is the correct side?? If there is a correct side, or maybe correct or incorrect dont matter in this situation. Kurt Robinson

This is BEV's board and she can run it any way she wants to! I can't believe you guys have the audacity to come on here and complain because she had had enough of Mybeagles whip lashing her on another thread so she just ended it cause he wouldn't quit.

You guy forgetting something, you post your opinions, thoughts, advertisements, and disagreements on this board and it if for free. She don't charge you one red cent, only thing she asks is to be civilized and act like adults. Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

He asked for what she gave him so now he has to take his medicine.... Sometimes that medicine may taste a little rough but then again maybe next time when she more or less tells you enough is enough you will quit

So my hats is off to ya BEV, at least ya got yer standards.

I like the way mybeagles handles himself he may have ruffled feathers at times but always made good points and always seemed well informed, he didnt have "cheerleaders" either, (guys that would pipe up after he posted and back him up with out really reading what he wrote) until now when I have sort of came to bat for him after he was "culled". Yelp, we all know folks who like to challenge authority. Alot of them are sitting in the crossbar hotel. Everyone can have an opinion but what has challenging authority got to do with that??? Voicing an opinion and challenging authority are two different things. But that is just my opinion. Then you have those people who like to set others up to take the fall while they sit back and giggle and enjoy the rukus. :hammer:

Anddddddddddd, guess what!!!! Bev doesn't owe anyone an explaination (
the authority here hasnt brought her side to light
)

The trash that Larry G put on the espo board was the exact reason he isn't on here anymore.

[quote="Greg H"]A lot of you guys are to young (in board years) to remember Yankee a.k.a Rebel. I doubt if there is much to go back and research because every time he posted he was stirring trouble.

This is the last thing I'll say about this and not that my opinion means a whole lot either. I think just ending the thread would have been enough by locking it out which happened. Banning someone from the board that I didn't think was anymore disrespectful than anyone else, wrong in my opinion. TC, you're right it's Bev's board and she can do as she pleases. And from what I've heard she does a pretty fair job with it. But if you don't want people to give their opinion then don't put yourself in that position. With the authority and congrats that she gets from time to time also comes the bad side. That's part of running anything from a multi-million dollar corp. to running a website like this. And if Mybeagles was the only problem then I don't see the need to lock out the entire thread or threaten others that asked about what happened with being banned also. I'm assuming she's not posting to this thread as to not continue the argument any further and I guess I don't blame her. But if she believes in why she kicked him off enough to do it then she should have no problem defending her actions here. Like I said and I promise no matter what else is posted I will not make another post on this matter but don't tell people they should keep their mouths shut. Her job may suck sometimes but she chose it and you have to take the good with the bad.

P.S. Bev, I'm sure running this board is not a ball of fun most of the time and guys like me do appreciate your doing it so we can have a place to discuss beagles with other beaglers. Like I said, take the good with the bad and I'm big enough to say thanks for all you do but I'm also not afraid to disagree when I think it may be warranted.

Enough said, at least on my part.

Bev is the mother of this board and believe me there are many children on here. Mom does NOT have to explain herself. If anyone does NOT like this fact then you can always take your toys and leave. Sorry but this is about as easy as it can be explained to some. If you still don't understand maybe mom will get the crayons out and draw you a picture.

Having had the experience of running or moderating 3 other boards (not beagles) I can tell you running a board like this is not easy. In fact alot of the times you have to wonder if it is worth the freakin headaches!!! But it is simple it is a free place to meet and greet others with the same interests. IF everybody would play nice and abide by the very simple rules laid down, there wouldn't be a need for a moderator. But there always has to be a few bad apples that have to push the limits and wear us down to the last nerve. I always had a 3 strike policy, or rather a 3 warning policy. One thing I would not tolerate is what is called "dogpiling", where a bunch of "friends" would gang up on an individual and torment them.

Alright kids, out of the sandbox!!!

As for Mybeagles, my opinion, he did always have something to say, sometimes interesting, but also a lot of times starting the same type threads over and over to continually harp on the same subject, quite often instigating arguments. If everybody would just agree to disagree on that topic and leave it alone, there would be a lot less bickering. I find Bev more fair and tolerating then you would find on a lot of boards.

It all boils down to feed, and in this case breed what works for you.
