Are Dream dog goes back to that cross with Fredrika. But would have to have the ped infront of me to tell you but that sounds right. But not for sure so no one quote me on that. But I got a question was it Mel who made that cross????

No sir it was Joel Herring he crossed Buck with Fredricka which produced a couple FC's one being Mack and when Joel got out Mel bought a few of his dogs Mack being one. I have spoke and sat and talked with Mel a bit and he is very hard and very picky on what he keeps. I can't speak on his opinion of Patch but I can speak of his knowledge and accomplishments in the Beagle World and that is alot of FC's both males and females and I am not talking a dog here and there I am talking two or three from a litter same cross on many diffrent crosses I am not sure of the number because it has grown since we talked last and will continue to grow. I will say this if they can't get it done and Mel has one of the nicest set-ups you will find alot more people should use his culling methods and there would be alot less junk out there FOR SALE. I am sure if you contact him he will be more than glad to have you come and run and will probably put you up at his place and am sure when you leave you will have a high reguard for this man and his dogs he might not change your opinion of your dogs but I am sure you won't change his either.

i have no problem at all with mel. i am surer he has some good dogs ,,gabe took offense of my playful picking really .. but i'll put down 3 dogs on 3 with gabe or mel .. i aint never seen a satsuma dog run maybe they r gods gift to beaglers i dont know but would enjoy a run with someone that has them ...and i can promise i wont leave emabbrassed.!
NOW onto what the poster wanted yes larry martin has crossed satsuma with pacth and liked it from what i hear. also a guy named something bryant has that as well and has liked it.i mostly have pure patch ,, but i have crossed with my friends dfj keenel just to see what we got so far it looks pretty good but they r still young under 2 yrs old.

no offense taken here buddy boy. i am a betting man. you wanted to spout off how good your dogs are and that your dogs would change mel's mind and line of hounds based on watching your dogs run. i am still willing to take that bet.....and even give odds. so are you still willing to bet. you are the one who suggested it. i am merely accepting.

wasa figure of speach my man. not abetting man here but willing to run anytime and youjust never know how ur mind can change after u see some dogs run. who knows maybe even my mind .. so gabe if u have any dogs to back up ur betting ways ,, i am willing to run with you and lets see i dont want ur money ,, just respect for the patch line would be welcomed. i stated how good my dogs are to me and i still like them or i wouldnt feed them ...so do you have dogs gabe or does mel keep them for you?

Not trying to take up for Gabe but preacher have you ever heard of Arha little pack R.Ch. AKC Field CH. Sullivans Go Joe he owns half of him. And not at all saying this dog will make you change your mind Preach but he is a very nice dog and definately will make you respect him. He had 4 wins in AKC mid west. He has a dog named Timer which is an akc field ch. And haven't seen him run but heard he could run the out of a rabbit. HE has placed in akc about everytime he has ran him. It sucks oh Gabe doesn't run Arha anymore I used to run with him quite a bit and those days are missed with me him and Terry Bradley running around and and going to hunts. Those were the days!!! He also has a very nice big female that can smoke a rabbit too. So when ya'll hook up let me know cause I'd like to come watch and see what goes on and if ya'lls super dogs can handle a couple old culls then I might just tag along a few of mine too.

murphy mine aint super by no means ,,but they make me smile alot.. sure looked good the other day on babby rabbit...they got gears but i like wide open lol. akc midwest style dogs are what ilike just no clubs near me. i run in lp and pp....i almost always place 2 or 3 dogs . ususally carry 3.buit there no world beaters just descent dogs that suit me,.

Preacher don't take me wrong I have seen some of your dogs run(and even one of them booger barked at me so I'd win). Sorry just had to bring that up but you do have some nice dogs and always enjoy you judging or running against me cause when I lose against you at least I am losing against some good dogs. Wasn't trying to say Gabe's dogs are better or worse. Was just trying to say he usually carries a dog that respectable and will get its share no matter who its running against. And I know you carry a dog with the same calibur so was just trying to get my old culls in the mix and see how they do plus what better to do than run dogs. Didn't mean for it to sound as I was putting your dogs down. You asked about Gabe's dogs so I put my view of them thats all. Hope no hard feelings...

didnt put the name with you at 1st murphy sry.. i know exactly who u r now. i still dont think it is fair to lose to an ugly handler that makes my dog bark at him lol. hes never done that before then and not since lol. i am sure ole gabe is a good guy and his dogs are good he was just protecting mel i guess and didnt realise i was just a pokeing fun u know how i am. anyhow its all good with me. good luck hope to see u again this fall .

no sir mr preacher, i have no ties with mel faust. but i do know for a fact that your dogs could not make him change his mind on the patch line and i guarentee you they will not change my mind. i have seen enough to know their style and they are definately not my style, but good for you. i am glad they suit you.

Hey Preach I am pretty sure your dog barked at me because he had never seen something so pretty. Matter of fact I am so pretty that he barked because he didn't want to see me dirty is why he barked when I layed down on the gravel pile.LOL
