primetime x turbo cross. All kind of foot. Check Out Spencers Blue Flame. My Male [brother to her] is one of the fastes dogs I have seen not only running but covers a lot of ground when hunting for a rabbit. Good line control . Blows out of a check. One of the three hardest hunting dogs I have ever seen. Jumps over half of the rabbits we Jump. And will retrive a dead rabbit. Runs the front and dont cheat to get there.

well,i have seen a lot of the "lines" mentioned so far run,the thing is,there is a grey area as to what some people consider fast...........

a couple of the "lines" mentioned will get out there in fron of a pack and pound, but, they swing out there to do itas for me,i like a dog that runs the rabbit, line control,i see guys all the time stick thier chest out and brag about how fast their dog is,especially out in indiana on big runnin rabbits..........

so,speakin on it that way,i will tell ya a lil story from the world hunt this year, the day before the runnoff,a large group of guys where standin around the barn on the hill tellin lies,a big ol buddy of mine said, and i quote...........

"i will bet anyone a hundred bucks that if ya put a rabbit down, turn it loose in front of my bommerang dog and any dogs in that barn, that my boomerang dog will out run any of them on a sight chase"

well,we all went out for some joy runnin, had about 10 hounds on the ground, everything from turbo blood, lumberjack, pine mt.,ninja, branko, reggie dogs, to just good ol grade hounds, and of course.......boomerang was there, well i had an ol iron eagle cull of mine named blue boy on the ground,we where all standin there tellin more lies, and here came the pack,we saw the rabbit,a big ol rabbit too come up along side the road and sit down about 50 feet off the roadside, the dogs all came up to where the rabbit was,and that ol bunny just sit there, they where all workin the check area, then all of a sudden, that indiana bunny took out of there a blazin, all the dogs through thier heads up and saw it,so,we had boomerand, blue boy,mr wilson, lnl ol red,and the rest of the crew lookin at it,all right there together,in front of god and everyone, them hounds tore out on a sight chase and you could see this stubby tailed blue tick pull away from the rest of them and just kept pullin away, after puttin about 10 dog lengths between him and the rest of the pack, blue boy caught that rabbit.............

so,my big buddy got what he wanted,a sight chase between boomerang and the rest of them, well,he got a lil fustered over that, and got in the truck after i did a happy dance and singin o yeah, show me the money

ahhhhhhh,it was a funny turn of events,i aint sayin blue boy is the fastest, but,he shure made a statement that day,i saw this post and just reminded me of that day,no,i still have not got my 100 bucks, but just seein my budies face turn red as hell, and load up boomerang then get in the truck was worth it

well,back to the topic............

fast beagles, well, just about all the "lines" mentioned can throw foot, but, you have to realize, them dogs are only gonna run as fast as thier nose will let them,so,you need foot and a big powerful nose to come together right with the right scenting conditions to have a fast hound.......

as far as my experience, and what i have seen, turbo and iron eagle dogs seem to have perty good foot and the nose to run the front, but i have seen a lot of fast dogs out of all the "lines" mentioned.......

i have tryed alot of difrent breeds, u cant beat MI hare, doms duggie was a animal, what i have seen, is they have speed with more control, do it rite, i had a narthway male that would skirt and cheat then blow it up, also had a bold stroke femal that was the same way. hounds like that dont live long around here.

i would have to agree with bill on this one and it not because i live in michigan either but i have been buying selling and trading dogs for a while and the ones i find the fastest is the old school michigan hair blood

I do like the Big Meadows stuff! Superman, Krissy, Tiny, Doc, Skunk, Venom just to name a few. Seems to have the contol to go with the speed. Have not seen many of them cheat to get it but once they do it is hard to get it off them. However I have not seen much of the other stuff mentioned. I have seen a few hounds out of just about all mentions but not very many for each.

I LIKE WHAT I HAVE GOT, HE'S PROBALY NOT THE FASTEST DOG OUT THERE BUT HE CAN HOLD HIS OWN. SOME OF YOU ALL HAVE RAN AGAINST HIM ( PENNINGTON'S WHISTLER ).. I THINK THAT A SMART DOG CAN MAKE YOU LOOK BETTER THAN A FAST DOG. SOME LIKE WHAT I HAVE SOME DON'T.

JONNIE PAYCHECK, Townline breed has lots of foot, and some very good line control. why have a dog, with lots of speed and not have the track. INDIAN HILL , from indian hills major, had lots of foot also but still had the track. PROBALY GOOD ONES IN ALL BREEDS,SO PICK WHAT YOU LIKE, YOUR BUYING THE FEED.
