Pro-Pet makes Hi-Standard, Joy, and Ultra at St. Marys, Oh. Gee wonder if it could all be the same food.

I think you can also ad Tennessee Farmer's Cooperative to that list. Looks like same food just different bags on all of them that I have compared.

Just when you thought you had heard everything, now GW is getting blamed for the high cost of dog food?

Could it be that nut Al Gore flying around in his jet, scaring everyone with made up stories about global warming (none of which are based on fact in any way)?

Corn is the biggest ingredient in dog food. Last year 12% of the corn crop was made into ethanol, this year it will be much higher. Corn prices are skyrocketing and they are just getting started. Hang on to your wallet.
42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Not trying to start anything here, but I just don't understand. Please explain this statement. How is it his fault?

Hi-Standard is manufactured in 3 locations, OH, KS, and UT. I know Hi-Standard has been in business out of OH since 1999 with his own formula. I have fed JOY just recently and it looks nothing like HI-Standard.

The govt pays farmers in the great plains state NOT to plant their millions of acres of farmland. The happened long before Bush ever got into office, now we have a shortage of grains because our demand is up. I guess we will have to stop paying our people to sit on their backsides for a living and hope they will remember how to farm the land they have to be able to drive the price of corn back down. Oh, I guess that would be Bush's fault too right?

Emery, you are a wise man. I also know you can't talk politics to someone that has no idea how the government works. The government also pays several dairy farmers in my area not to milk cows. Although our President will get all the blame for the shape our country is in, I think we need to dig a little deeper and the real reason would be found.JMO

Pro Pet wanted their own signature name brand joy became available when best feeds was going out of business so therefore they bought the joy name brand . the joy gets the best ingredients of all 53 names of dog feed they make period !!

the funny thing about all the dog food debates is ..i have seen arguing over the same feed yet people dont know it ..if brand x wants a certain ratio feed and brand c wants the same ratio they both own the same identical bag of ingredients with two different names on it and again i have seen people get in knock down drag outs over brand x and brand c.lol

I truly believe the above statement is false. Go buy some Joy dog food and see for yourself.
