Next time out (maybe several times out) leash her to a tree and let her hear and see the action. Do not let her off until she is worked up into a frenzy. She needs to understand she must hunt when you want to not when she wants to.

Thanks for all the advice, has given me some ideas to try. Going to start by only running her with one dog, and putting her in the box if she won't pack. Then go from there.

My 8 month old was similar. It took 3 times out for 2-3 hours before he would go with the one other hound. He preferred to run his own. If he was near me when the other hound went by I would run after the other dog and the pup would join in at times and then finally trust the other dog enough to run with him. This is a friends dog that my pup only got to meet in the woods, Also you should take the pup 2-3 times the 1st week or two with the dog it finally packs with to keep it packing. I waited 7-14 days before going out with the other dog againg and found it took a little time (1/2-1 hour) before he would pack, now hes fine. At 11 months old I put him in a fun trail with 11 unfimiliar dogs and he 1st went with them for about 1/2 hour then came to a guys feet, then I walked him in and he stayed. I didn't here him harking in as I expected for the 1st hour but from the first 1.5 hours on he ran as usuall checking driving etc. and really started enjoying the other hounds. He is also a in/out house dog and that doesn't hurt a well trained beagle for hunting/trailing.

I took her out the other day with just one other dog. The dog she gets along the best with. They ran 2 rabbits together. I'm going to keep her with just that dog and see how she does.
