They can no longer sell Interceptor and Heart Gard to us folks here in the U.S. thanks to the big Drug Companies. I contacted them about this issue as I had bought interceptor from them for over 2 years, but earlier this year they were forced to discontinue sales of interceptor to folks in the US. Let's hear it for the big drug companies putting the squeeze on the little man.

I had noticed the US $ has climbed compared to the AU $. When I started using pets megastore...you could buy what they had for AU $38.00 for $19.00 USD........now its closer to $28 USD.
I am fortuante to have a local Vet that will sell cases of Interceptor to me for a good price. I buy a case for $250. This case contains 12 Packages of Interceptor for 100# dogs and each package has 6 pills. So I end up with 72 pills each of which I break into fourths when we use. So I get 288 treatments for $250. I think thats less than a nickle per day per dog.
Perhaps some of you guys can check with your vets to see if you can get a discounted case price and then divide amongst several friends. Or I can check with this vet and see if he can send them thru the mail to others who purchase. SHelf life is long on the cases. A case usually lasts me about 15-16 months and is dated for a couple of years or longer.
