Denny606. AMEN except for the Billy Donovan thing. I would like to see Travis Ford as coach, and the PRide of Paintsville John Pelphrey as assistant. Scrub the Tub or drain it, but Barnhart keeps saying that the problem is not with him, but with his supporting cast. That's like treating a headache with a bandaid on the big toe. The head controls or it doesn't, period. The only fault(s) I see in Billy is that he's going to be like Rick, never satisfied, rumors have already started abotu him and the NBA. I dn't like the way he allows Noah to carry on like a J.A. when things are going well for Fla. Even Rick wouln't have allowed such showboating. BTW, I lost all respect for Krzweski the other day when he denied that his player intentionally threw elbows. In the same interview he denied that the big sissy Laettner that stomped Aminu Timberlake in '92 did anything wrong, either. Think about that! Technical foul (the only nonstupid thing to call)and Richie and Pelphrey would have killed the giant that needed killing worse than Goliath!

This thread seems a bit silly now and I sort of regret getting involved, but I don't see Ohio people on here randomly starting threads bashing the University of Michigan. Couldn't believe Virginia Tech came back and beat Illinois. I fell asleep before the game ended and woke up and to see where VT came back and won.

When losing, one tends to look for other subjects that deter their perception of loss. Although almost half (maybe more) of your players are from the Buckeye state. If you can get a few more recruits from down here you might have a shot. It should be the Michigan Buckeyes vs the Ohio State Buckeyes!

Oh by the way, Cavalier is looking real good Steve. I hope to see you at some upcoming trials. I am starting a new work schedule of straight days with every weekend off. Hopefully this will allow me to attend alot more trials. Call me before you go to any, maybe we can hook up. Chip

Actually Ohio State and Michigan are going to COMBINE their football teams into one team and hope they WON'T get blown away on the football field against teams liKe Forida and USC.

That is not even fair. You tell me what you would do if a Pac 10 or SCC school brought you to campus at 18 years old to show you all the southern girls. From what I know, the gender difference in the sourthern schools are pretty much tipped heavily to the female side (more girls).

We can't compete. And if you combined U of M and OSU, we would have mass confussion. One group would be robbing everyone and dealing dope. The other group would be studying and lifting weights. And then all the Ohio high school stars that had concerns about character would move on to Penn St as would all of the Michigan boys. You would then be left with just OSU. It really won't work with the distinct difference in character.

LOL - you're a joke. Don't hate because Michigan sucks and the Buckeyes have owned them for the last several years in football and basketball. Don't hate because OSU has one of the best medical, engineering and business programs in the country. Don't hate because many of our athletes are scholars as well as athletes. You just choose to HATE and show your A$$ because Michigan SUCKS!
