I had pups 3 weeks old that had this same symptons. I used Sulfadene, didn't help. Vet said they were too young to dip. An old man from Grand Prairie Texas told me that he had been using 1/10th of a CC on the pups for years. I had nothing to loose and tried it. It works, I even start them on Ivomec at 4 weeks old. Better than dips. IMO

I agree about the safety of Ivermectin. I have given it to bred bitches and puppies as young as 4 weeks old as well with no adverse effects. There are certain breeds (mostly herding) that have a sensitivity to it and they can die from it. Much easier to use and safer than dips or "used oil" LOL
