I have a double Turbo male that is not a year old yet that can flat eat a rabbit up. I'm glad I got him as he will be be a great cross with the Northway stuff or any other of the lines I have. I don't trial hardly any but I bet he could win in any format out there that likes a fast hound.

I have a male & female (littermates) , out of a female that I own out of Turbo and a Kingwood and Armando's bred female, and a Northway male. The male pup started jumping and running solo at 4.5 months old in the wild, and the female at 6 months old. There were 4 pups in the litter and 3 were running and being gunned over at 6 months old,and the 4th was lost, and never found. The male has been trialed ARHA LP 4 times,he got a 1st the first time,at 17 months old and has a 3rd and a 5th,I haven't trialed the female yet,but will. They do a great job, plenty speed, with good line control, and tons of hunt, the only trouble I have had was getting handle in them, all they have wanted to do is Hunt,Hunt,Hunt.I have owned several Turbo dogs, and hunted with several,I sure like most of what I have saw.I think Turbo is one of the Best reproducers of all time!
Not only will Turbo throw LP dogs his offspring has done well in progressive too. I have three grand pups out of Turbo that have all placed in the top 5 in PP hunts, some in state hunts and one female that was 22 months old that won the trial, all three are around 2 years old. Two are out of TK's Rockhill Rambler and the other is out of Dreamboat. Three times this year I had all three in the final cast of six dogs, (no buddy judging here, different states) I also know of another great grandson of Turbo doing well in PP, Swing's Legend out of Arkansas and he is the real deal, I think he is a champion now. I feel greatness comes to a stud dog when he can just make a plain old good gundog, dogs that will run in different formats, dogs that will shine when you put them in the big hunts, dogs after seen running a rabbit everyone would take home with them, dogs that can run anywhere in the pack and make the pack look good (if you took the dog out the pack it would fall apart), dogs that have the desire to catch the rabbit on any given day, in short: smart, hunt, desire to catch, toughness. Turbo is not the only stud that produced this but He is one of them. Thanks for listening. dboman
Let's go run them!!!
