I can use this clip to prove why I don't have much faith in judges off by themselves. Guys are claiming they don't see the rabbit, some guys are claiming the dogs didn't circle the rabbit, some guys just see the grass blowing, they don't hear the dogs driving the rabbit in the backround, the poor judging just goes on and on. Would you want some of these guys being the sole judge of YOUR beagle off by themselves, or would you want the whole cast doing the judging? According to UKC's Hunting Beagle rules, Kate scored 100+ for 1st strike, Pedde got 75 points for 2nd strike. Pedde got 100+ points for speed and drive, Kate got 85+ points for speed and drive. So, on the first circle, Kate scored more points. But, on the other 2 circles I have on tape, Pedde got both speed and drive's with100+ given. There wasn't any checks on that rabbit so no check scores were given. I could say that they ended up holing the rabbit but they would have been caught after scoring 3 line and drives. They did end up losing the rabbit but not after 3 line and drives. If they would have lost the rabbit before 3 line and drives, they would have scored -50 each for the loss. If they would have made any checks, they would have each drew -20 with the one picking up the check getting +20.

I think I could break some of those guys from chasing after the dogs after a couple of circles behind these dogs. I have broke some of the locals from attempting to run behind my beagles for an hour.

If you will listen closely, you can hear me whisper
there's the rabbit" just before the rabbit come through.
I think this video proves some of the things I have been saying all along. Just look at what some of these "judges" have said already. Their judging is faulty, everyone can see for themselves. I sure don't want them judging my beagle off by themselves.

Hey Redtick, if those dogs are what you like, everyone else can go pound sand. I saw the rabbit the first time I watched it, and as anyone who rabbit hunts with dogs knows that every circle isnt all out running, some are, some are hit and miss. I guess most of the slammers on here need to think about what they like in a dog and go for it themselves. Your dogs circled that rabbit back to the gun, screw a score card, gun hunting is what these hounds were put on this earth for not winning Paper titles. All I hear about is this dog explodes out of a check, or this dog outruns everything. Most of the dogs that explode out of a check that I have seen arent worth killing becuase they are always losing the rabbit and creating more checks. I would feed your dogs anytime in my kennel, they did exactly what I want out of any beagle, bring it to the gun. Tom Clouse

Dave-

So I guess this means you aren't coming to WV either? Oh well, no surprise! I like how you always completely avoid questions you don't want to answer, and try to change the subject like you did once again in this post! I will be in Indiana next month (at the Eliminator) if that is close enough for you, maybe we could meet up and I will bring a pup or two with me to run against your "professional" dogs.lol

Redtick,
Why do you keep wanting, (or should I say) asking for this punishment?

http://www.huntingfootage.com is a very good place to post hunting videos. If you want to see some other footage I have posted, go to my gallery on that board. I have footage of my coonhounds on coon and my Mt Curs on squirrels also. There are other beagle clips on my gallery. No, no harvesting with blowguns. I will leave all of the blowing to Swing.

Well i will have to say i have ran some of the best races i have seen all season today, and sure wish i had one of them there digital cameras today i believe i would give old redtick a run for his money on that video stuff.

Not knocking your video redtick but these races were one to put on film, sure wished i would have had my 8mm for todays event.

It was so good just keep letting the rabitts pass, i couldn't stand to see the races end, plus it was 1 heck of a tune up for my hounds.

Maybe i will get one of those fancy cameras one day and i can put it on your sight for everyone to see.

I just bought a new Sony digital DV camcorder at Sears for $350 that hooks right into my computer. I have a $1000 digital camcorder but the cheaper one is safer to use outdoors and seems to make a good video. Even if your computer isn't already set up for digital signals from a camcorder, you can buy a card that will accept a digital signal fairly cheap. My camcorder came with a USB 2.0 hookup which most newer computers have USB 2.0 ports to plug into. Movie editing software comes with an XP operating software or you can buy some movie editing software real cheap. So, anyone that wants to, could probably make much better beagle movies than me. But, I am out there doing it, not just thinking about it. I hope to get some good footage of a buddy hunt my buddies and I are going to have today. They will be hunting some young dogs that were born in my kennels.
The big thing about these videos is that these dogs don't live forever and having some good tape of some of your good dogs can be priceless later on. The female in the video, Kate, is due to have pups by Pedde. When folks buy pups, they can see and hear what the pup's parents run like. I think it give me an edge on selling my pups.
