What impresses you most when your dogs are running?

I like it when the pups start taking the checks away from the old dogs! SMILE! Cause you know your gonna have something!

I like it when you see a dog that runs with control, steady enough to keep a rabbit up on horrible conditions in a MI winter. They usually have Brains good nose and that great concentration that some dogs seems to lack.

I like training young dogs,watching their progress is great.

I like to see the hard check at a dusty dirt road or plowed field watch the pack work till one comes up with the scent and shows the others which way the rabbit went.

I also like to see dogs searching in tuff cover and be rewarded for their efforts by getting a rabbit up and running!

What I like is when I see all of my hounds getting a part of the race. If I had one dog that got all the jumps and all the checks that is the only hound I would need. I like a pack that runs as one. The proverbial pack that you could throw a blanket over them as they run. Thats what I want. Teamwork and Consistency!!!!!
