bluetick question

well those dogs i wouldnt call a true blue,,,,,,,,but oak hill yours is the first i have seen with a smooth coat,,,,now southerns beagle is what im talking about,,,,,,,its got a lot coarser hair than most,,,,,,,,but i was just asking a question and i have heard a bunch of answers,,,,,,,,

Can you please post a picture of a "True Blue"?? Because if these aint true blueticks, I sure would like to see one!

a true bluetick is black and blue with out any brown,,,,,

I was afraid you would say that! LOL

Actually a TRUE Bluetick is a blue hound with heavy ticking. What Sally and I have are black ticks.

As for the coats, this is a trait I breed for. It is protection and it is correct. I only have two "Blackticks" but most of my tri's have this coat too. Go figure! LOL
