Best hound I ever owned was a little 13" grade female that I traded a lock-on treestand half-worn out for...traded even with the guy. She was 8-9 months old and unstarted. Boy when she started she took off like a rocket and never looked back, run `em to gun or hole and do it right and FAST. Then many years ago I decided I didnt have a dog worth a darn if it didnt have AKC papers so I sold her (for a pretty good sum for a grade hound) and bought a few papered dogs...
Boy what I`d give to have her back...
