Im personally about sick and tired of seeing all the d**n crying about a magazine! If your that unhappy about The American Beagler then I would quit taking it but then I guess some would have to find something else to B***H about every month. I dont see where anyone that has complained about it on here has anything to complain about in the first place. First of all if you have a computer to get on here and cry about it you have the same one to get on and get the info for hunts. Second, When I subscribed to TAB I dont remember seeing anything that said the mag would be delivered on any certain date. The only thing that is guaranteed is that when you send your subscription in you will recieve 12 issues. I got my TAB today and in the top right corner it says JANUARY, 2005. Its the January issue and I got it in January so life is good for me! Its one thing to NICELY ask about the status of your mag if you dont recieve it but some of the posts on here are a different story!

You don't have respect for anyone, do you?
I happen to be the moderator of this board. I don't think you need to be telling me how to behave. You don't respect the owner of the magazine and this board, and you don't respect the moderators of this board.
I have to read these topics to keep people like you in line. I cant really pick whos post I read and whos I dont BUT I can decide who posts and who doesnt!

lol Sounds like you are the perfect personality for authority... People like me? Please expand.... This is the TAB board my magazine is beyond late so... where else would I post about it? Have any ideas on that? Like to know what I've done that you need to "keep me in line"? If you're trying to bait me in to a name contest keep trying. So, what have I done past and present that I require keeping in line? This should be good, as I'm quite the rebel on this board.

Kevin, why do you need to post about it? This message board is intended for the discussion of beagles and beagling. It's not the customer service line for the magazine. If I take the board down tomorrow, you and others will quickly learn the proper way to address your magazine issues. Since you and others feel you MUST post about it, why is it necessary to post about it more than once? I think what Aaron means by "people like you" is what I call the "noisy minority". Now before you get offended, let me break it down for you.
First off, the vast majority of my subscribers aren't even computerized, and if they were, they don't have much time to mess on one. That automatically makes you a minority among the subscribers. Of those who are computerized, I get more phone calls, e-mails, and private messages from those who inquire about their magazine than I do people who post about it on the message board. We resolve the issue in private, then I don't hear from them again unless it happens again. That makes them the majority of the "computerized" complaints.
Now we have a minority of subscribers who post on the boards - a VERY SMALL fraction. Some of these will compliment me when the magazine arrives on time, in good condition, and/or contains particular articles of interest to them. (I always appreciate that, too) They also stomp their feet, post every two days when their magazine is late, and then proceed to bash me, and threaten not to renew, or whatever. They are noisy when life is good, and they are noisy when life is bad, but in any event, that's why they are called the "noisy minority"
The other 97% of the subscribers don't compliment or complain at all. They have accepted that their magazine always gets to them later than other people, or they don't field trial and just enjoy reading the stories, or they know that sometimes things happen and that I will always replace a missing magazine. If it was an error on my part I will usually give them an extra issue or two onto their subscription. They are the silent majority. These principles are true and consistent with most businesses.
I always try to remind myself that "any day above ground is a good day". I wish you many good days.
