I PERSONALLY WILL NOT KEEP A DOG THAT RUNS WITH IT'S HEAD DOWN, AS THIS IS AN INDECATION OF A DOG THAT LACKS NOSE, TO ME. AS I SAID I HAVE BEEN PRIVELEGED TO OWN SEVERAL DOGS THAT WERE HONEST( COMPLETELY) THAT COULD JUMP AND POUND A RABBIT IN ALL TYPES OF WEATHER AND TERRAIN. IF YOU HAVE NOT I HOPE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO FIND OR HUNT WITH ONE. I ONCE SAID THAT A TRUE RABBIT DOG, IS A RABBIT DOG FROM THE NORTH POLE TO SOUTH POLE, FROM EAST TO WEST. HAVE BEEN HUNTING IN SEVERAL STATES, ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF RABBIT AND ALWAYS FOUND THIS TO BE TRUE ! HAVE FOUND THE GREATEST ASSET IN A RABBIT DOG TO BE THE DESIRE TO PRODUCE A RABBIT AND OVER TAKE IT, WITH THE BRAINS TO KNOW HOW TO ADJUST TO TO ACHEIVE THIS PURPOSE. With due respect, where are you located? I would like to see your hound if at all possible. I am ALWAYS looking for one to improve my enjoyment in the field, maybe he is the next one I breed to, who knows?

This is not a joke as I take my hounds seriously. I WANT to find the dogs that destroy mine with the traits I like. " nose down is an indication of a dog that lacks nose " right on brother right on.... and i assume that your male will put his nose down when he has to , but i bet its up when hes rockin... and i would also guess that that he aint saying anything when hes on a loose... My kinda hound... let me know if you decide to let bc beagles watch your male go,, for i to have a head up running male that i would love to show him.... im pretty sure we live pretty close... in the words of my mentor Mr Courter.... as a matter of fact we ran them 2 the other night... the outcome was epic.. and conditions where dry and windy.... he has got a good hound and ive begged him to price him more than once

i would love to have him buck,,, to go with my male ... to hear those two run and watch them compete is a definate pleasure for me... not much nose down pouring out stuff goes on.

Dog that keeps his head down is lack of Nose???? No disrespect intended. I know most of you guys like a lot stronger dog. I feel sure most of you would find these dogs boring but they are going to run the rabbit.
