To me integrity and respect go hand in hand in my book....a guy gets all the way to the finals of the biggest hunt in the world in the grand champion class and then gets the stick thrown on him because the pressure of winning is getting to someone that has no confidence in his dogs talent so he looks for a way out by measuring another mans....that's disrespectful....that's like partying all night going home early and calling the po po to tell em where to set up the road blocks to get ur buddies that r still out....

I don't follow no mans rules but my own....u don't mess with ur buddies ex girlfriends, no stealing, no lying, and u don't take a man to the stake....everything else is pretty much WFO

No one wants to see disqualification stamped in the top 10....We ran a border line dog in Arha and then in akc never got the stick because we had respect....never measured one either cause we have respect...If the borderline dog is such a badass I wanna see what I got if u beat me fine no complaints no crying no whining but he better be what u think he is cause I can type on this phone from my running grounds I'm not sitting at home preparing for u...What I'm saying is I have confidence in my hounds .

Don't even no the guy that measured moon dog I'm sure he a nice guy and I got no problem with him I just think that was a cheap way to try to win the biggest hunt in the world that everyone prepares for year round whether they running big dogs or little dogs

Is that not truth. Ha listen this is a public forum and i use this for entertainment. People let certain words effect them in such a bad way. Know who you r and what you r truely all about and know you only have one person to answer too and thats the man in the sky at the end of this ride and we all will answer to him this much I know. So relax enjoy each others comments dont take it so serious. Listen I have said somethings on this form that has effected me in a negative way and taken me away from alot of great friends. Why because people cant handle either who they r or what they do. Ha why should you care what frank miller thinks or saids I am a nobody as everyone else on here. We r all just passing through and where you stop along the way is how you will be judged. Relax its not personally hell its not even personally between myself and Fred Joyce and or Del I am sure they do what they do because they feel it is right. Yea am i upset yes but you know what i know the sun will come up tomorrow wheather i am reinstated back into the organization or my dog is over 15 or someone called my dog out at the biggest hunt we will probley ever know in r lifetime but is it worth all this. We all love this sport and i have yet to meet anyone in this sport that I HATE there r some that i would rather not be around but that doesnt make them bad people. Hell I have a ex wife that too this day i would call her a good person we just were not good together. I am sorry that i have gone on and on i am just tired of the fighting and such. If you cant handle someone elses opinion and that is all this forum is about then dont log on. Sorry Bev I love your forum but relax fellows its just entertainment look at it like that and you wont take it so personally.

Is that a picture of frank when his club held the Little World? I think I remember that. It was at the stake when he was headed out to judge.

Murphy's Kennel wrote:NEVER did I call anyone a piece of sh&$.... I said he was scared and my question to you is this? if he was so trying to follow the rules. Why didnt he have the other dog in the finals measured? I was there and seen both dogs beside each other and there wasnt any difference. Or why didnt he measure dogs in the cast before where I know there was two dogs as big in that cast? All these dogs are 15 or under but he singled out the one dog SO yeah looks pretty scared to me.....
I started in 93 and the same people were the president and Sec and treasure then wasnt it? Everett told me at a hunt in 94 he was busy with P.P. he didnt have time to compete in both! What someone else posted about a champion dog of thiers is there baby I have nothing do with that! I dont run dogs over and dont measure dogs at the stake so either win or lose its gonna be in the field with me! Also I said some things get blown out proportion on here and they do! People like to take words and twist them around. All I was saying then was dont make an assuption by whats being posted on a public forum go and judge for yourself as I have an assumption of you but doesnt mean it true! I am done with this thread so have fun!
Didn't say you actually did, I said basically, meaning it was insinuated.

I don't know why he didn't have the other hounds measured, maybe you should ask him instead of assuming!
You state don't make assumptions on a public forum, but some of you wanted the rest of us to assume he was scared and a low life.
Some of you jumped on this guy like vultures on carrion and as soon as your questioned, oh boy!

Questions:
1) It is within the rules to ask for a measurement at the stake during a trial?
2) Is it against the rules to run a hound over 15"?
3) Did the hound measure out?
4) Did it affect the outcome of the trial?

Would I do it, no, but I'm not going to gang up on a guy because he did.
It is well within his rights to do so once he paid the entrance fee.

You know what they say when you assume.
With that said though, assume all you want, I have thick skin.

I understand both sides of the argument on this issue or I see both sides, I think if people talked to the rules committee, club or arha leadership as much as they like to put their opinion on here maybe something could be changed for the better of LP. If we love running trials and such and we are honorable men don't throw a guy under the bus for doing what he has the right to do in this format under THEIR rules, if the rule sucks try to get fellow beaglers together to change the rule, I'm all for doing away with measuring at the stake, if they have a card or get measured in at the hunt then that should be it. Until that rule can be changed deal with it, and I'm not talking about calling names, a lot of you guys are well respected in the beagle world by you name and your dogs, use the respect you and your dogs have earned to change this, don't lose it for a guy that did what he had a right to do

Ya know what Matt? Your wife must of typed this or you just said one of the greatest things I ever heard come out of that yap. It's dead dicks on. Bottom line Kentucky boys don't give two shitz about size, yea it's a rule so is masturbation a sin. I broke that to, how bout you boys? Let's get it on.

I to have no dog in this fight and I agreed with most of you about it not being right....right up until I read this post that is!! :angryfire: :angryfire: . After seeing guys running this format with this attitude its no darn wonder someone called for a measurement!! Quite honestly after reading this I have to commend the guy for having the balls to do it if he felt the dog was over because its pretty obvious at least a few have no problem bringing an oversized dog. Nothing like being blatant about cheating on an open forum. Wow I gotta admit my jaw dropped and I don't think I'm interested in even trying LP after seeing this.
