Extending unemployeement benifits???

Somebody who makes a lot when they're working but expects periods of unemployment should probably draw up a budget and save some from the good times for the dry spells.

Taxes were paid by your employer to the fund to supply the need when it came.
During the years of plenty this fund grew(unless like Social Security, the Gov. borrowed from it for pet projects and forgot to pay it back) because many were working and fewer were collecting.

My employer also pays a good portion of my doctor bill, Should I feel bad and pay the bill myself instead?

i do that--i know when tye work i do is gonna boom,as well as be slim.have a budget,but that dont mean i dont collect.last year i had 12 different w-2 forms for taxes,the year before that i had 15.every employer had to pay about 470.00 per employee for unemployment insurance,they have made their money off me,job ends=lay off.they get more work,they call the hall,hall calls me and i go back out and make them more money---while i earn mine

for those that have totally lost their job and know they aint going back,unemployment must be a killer.it surely isnt income to have a life with
