Michigan Senator Tom Casperson has used this incident to highlight the need for hunting wolves in Michigan. Time will tell how that works out.

My question is this, why not show the jaw of the wolf?? Show the world or even the teen. In my opinion wildlife officials will always make up an excuse why a wild animal attacks a human for no reason. They don't want the people to know the truth that the wolf was normal and healthy...

JCM just read the link to Tom Casperson and glad to see your story getting some attention. I emailed thanking him for showing interest in your tragedy and to keep fighting for the management of the wolf. I would encourage anyone from anywhere to do the same. Even though you may not be from MI if your even thinking of coming here you need to speak up and let the people that make the laws know that the wolf situation needs control. The HSUS is by no means done and they will be trying to undermine in any way they can any management of the wolf so speak up and say you want the wolves managed.Also snowshoe-hare's guide link should be used by everybody on this board.

Thanks Steve. I got a nice email from him stating that he just hoped by telling the story it would help the cause of controlling the wolf population.
