When receiving advice concerning buying/investing in random dogs from random bloodlines opposed to committing to a certain bloodline for kennel foundation, {with the caution of being “kennel blind”}. George Nixon said it has always been safer to be a buyer/investor in hounds opposed to being a committed breeder of hounds. But when the breeder does get it right, the rewards are not even comparable.
George Nixon stated to my good friend Byron & myself; “There is a difference from investing in random dogs opposed to actually committing to a bloodline, much like a plate of ham & eggs, the chicken invested, however, the pig was committed.”

The way to win a cast at a UKC trial is to become a judge so you can judge your own dog!
