BEST YOUNG DOG OUT THERE

Post by db215 »

Guys,
Send in the best young dog you have seen in the last year, I'm talking trialing or gun hunting abilities, don't care which format, all have good dogs. Would like all to keep the dog's age 2 or under for this one if possible. I enjoy hearing about new ones coming up to watch for in the future, maybe someone else does too. I heard someone talking about seeing a famous dog on here when he was 16 or 18 months old and they knew he was going to be a great one and everyone laugh at him but his prediction came true. I do know also that most dogs don't come into greatness until long after this but maybe someone has been impressed with one lately and just wants to tell about it. It's your chance to predict the future's great!!!!!! thanks dboman

I have a T-Rex and Ali Baba male that is 20 months old,he is winning in UKC trials but has turned into a very good Jump hound and Rabbit dog. He has alot of control and foot and works a check from point of loss. He has alot of talent. Hes the best young male I've personaly seen for a long time, but theres lots I havn't seen. I'm very fortunate to have got him as a pup and watch him develop into a good hound,he should be great when hes 3 or 4 years.

HBCH Mountain Music Nitro I don't get to go to very many trials per year because of the hours I work, hes been in 4 champion hunts and has 2 wins,I'd like to run him in the challange series this year but can't because of work,he would do well. Above all he brings meat to the gun.

I have four of the best young dogs I have ever seen. I not bragging but you can see them in my website. Their names are Candy, Beauty, Nellie, and Tangree. Best I have seen in a long time.

i know of a male that is just about to turn 2 that is superb. As a pup he was handing it to older dogs. Not just running the front and holding it but grabbing most of the checks when there were any. I know he is out of Yukon Jack and Patrick's Sabrina so he is Lumberjack on the top and Turbo on the bottom. You will be hearing of him this year because i think he will be trialed.

TK's Clear Cut Sandy and Suzy are the best young hounds that I have owned in a long time, if ever. They are two years old, their sire is RCh TK's Pocket Rocket and the dam is Knee High Sue(by Branko's Casanova).
They hunt hard, have GOOD clean mouths, strong in claiming checks and miles miles of heart. They will be trialed in ARHA LP at some point, and I expect they will do great.

Smokes Creek Sy's Blue-Bea. I bought this pup from Peter Burns at 8 weeks old and at 5 months she could circle her own rabbit. This pup will be 7 months old the 14th of January and she is now just one of the pack. She gets her fair share of jumps, strikes, checks and does her fair share of the work in the pack. Her sire is KY Beagles Timber Rattler and her dam is Syris Maple Hill Scout, making her Syris McGee top and bottom. She is the dog that I have always wanted, that one special one.

The best young dogs I have right now are Polly and Bam. Alot of TALENT in these two. I hope they finish out as powerful as they are now.

Some of the best young dogs I have seen this gun season are Slick owner Julian Carter, Dora owner Jesse Duncan, Buster owner Jason Inhabid, Pur Dee owner Mike Copeland....all these dogs can run the hare off a rabbit and do it with style. They are all out of my Hitman dog (thought I would throw that in there..lol).

I have a male that is 15 mouths. That is the best young dog i have owned he will run with his head up and stay on the line. I got him off of james hitchcock. He is out of powells showboat and a female out of ali-bia bia. Hoist will never see any trials due to his size. he is about 16". I will keep him for pleasure hunting. joshua lee
