Hounds and Hunting Magazines

Post by Miss Beagle »

Hi everyone,

I recently got married and found out that my father has discarded my past subscriptions of Hounds and Hunting. The one I'm most distraught about is the June or July 1999 issue. My male beagle was high hound at the Mid Dixie in North Carolina. He passed away from epilepsy at the young age of three and this is the only picture of him that I have. If you can help me, please let me know. I called Art Slike about 10 days ago and he told me they don't keep back issues of the magazines for people to purchase.

Also I am thinking about joining a brace club here in NC. Catawba is too far, I wondered if anyone could tell me about Fayetteville. I am a member of Coraopolis Beagle Club (Home of the International Federation) and Beaver Valley Beagle Club near Pittsburgh, PA.

Thanks in advance,

Gretchen Sayre-Kozen

Gretchen, I don't know how far back I have copies of Hounds and Hunting - probably not that far back, but I may have some odd copies given to me. I will look through what I have and if those issues are there you are welcome to them. There are probably people posting here and on espo that have those issues, and would likewise be happy to get them to you so you can have the pic of your beloved dog. We all have them.
