Friday is opening day of bunny season here in Ohio, and I can not wait to go. I'm mildly concerned though because we have only had a couple mild frosts and it is going to be a high of 60 degrees this weekend. Is this too warm? Do you think the bunnies will be out, what about ticks, etc...?
Good luck

Take a kid hunting or fishing.
I would probably have to wear a jacket if it were that cool
I would bet you could find a bunny in those temps.Ticks are year around residents down here and if a person worried about them they would have to stay home all year.
The only thing I would suggest is if it is that temp and you plan to hunt all day, don't carry the bunnies around all day before cleaning them and putting them on ice.
Have fun and be glad it isn't in the nineties.
