no way the younger the better but its never too late i have one i started at 11 years old i had used him on phesant and grouse when i lived out west now he is a rabbit dog he will be 13 this coming april and still going strong

houndsound i have been in the USAF for 18 years i am deployed to Guam and looking forward to getting home after the hollidays to do some rabbit hunting and field trials with my boy he turns 8 this week he had lot's of fun last year he loves to carry the rabbits and handle his dog she got her first win out of 42 big females at acadiana a few weeks back
